First Day - Announcement for the launching of the San Juan dated
September 6, 1941

This drawing was done by San Juan crewman Frank "Fritz" Ryszewski
on the San Juan using a piece of canvas that was torn off in battle from
one of the guns.
This drawing is hanging in the home of his sister, Evelyn Ryszewski
Kalec.
