Glen DeBeal is my brother.  He is now in an assisted living facility.  His memory is fairly good.  I am the family historian in the family.  I spoke of being on the ship when it was torpedoed and he was in the water and was rescued.  He says that is why he hates water, swimming that is.  Once I get more information I will post it.  He was active with a group of retirees in the Maryland area.  They had yearly reunions.  Trying to find the roster. If I am able to locate this information will post the members names and any other information I come up with. When my brother returned from the war to Corona, California he moved soon afterwards to Baltimore, Maryland.
