A message from crewman Leo Decounter's son, Douglas:
I would like any information on exact dates of my father service on the San Juan, division information, battle stations or any other comments.   I am currently working on a model of the San Juan as she appeared at the Battle of Santa Cruz, Oct.23,1942.  If any vets could offer any details on the exact location of the bomb hit, or any other details of the ship, I would be very grateful.
